The end of the the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour is here as drivers, and lots of them, head to Martinsville Speedway for the season finale at 8 p.m. ET on Thursday, Oct. 26.

The year has just about reached its end for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. The conclusion to this wildly exciting season will come at the end of 200 laps around Virginia’s Martinsville Speedway on Thursday night, and nearly 40 teams and drivers have decided to make the trip to the historic half-mile.

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – A week before crowning the 2023 champion at Martinsville Speedway, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour plans to carry on a new schedule tradition by opening mere miles from the birthplace of NASCAR and finishing at one of its most historic tracks as the 16 race dates on the 2024 schedule was announced today.

With just two races left in 2023, all eyes turn to the Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in the northeastern corner of Connecticut for the penultimate race of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour season on Sunday. Sunday’s race will be the 152nd at the historic 0.625-mile facility, and with that comes a stacked field of Modifieds.
