Apparently that was an easy mission to accomplish as Beers finished second and clinched his first championship in the 40th year of the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour.

NASCAR today revealed the 2026 NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour schedule, a 16-race slate that blends tradition, competition, and fan-favorites. The new season marks the highly anticipated return of Stafford Speedway and Oxford Plains Speedway, the championship finale moves back to its storied home at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park.

Just one race remains on the 2025 calendar for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. One race separates two drivers from being crowned a champion for either the first time or the fifth time in their respective careers.

The season finale for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour’s 40th year is upon us as the mighty Modifieds will take to the track on Thursday night at Martinsville Speedway with 30 cars making the trip to the “Half-mile of Mayhem.”

Now that the leaves are changing colors and the temperatures are falling, next year’s racing season is already right around the corner. With that in mind, New Smyrna Speedway officials have already released their schedule for the 60th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing to be held February 6-14 in the shadow of the Daytona 500.

Four 25-lap heat races separate more than 60 drivers from a starting spot in the 40-car field for the 200-lap feature to determine the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 winner. Four dreaded heat races. Only two drivers are safe. Connor Hall and Matt Waltz are locked into the 200-lap main event. The rest of the drivers have to hope they finish in the top 10 in their heat race to have a chance to race in the main event. Meanwhile, 2022 ValleyStar Credit Union 300 winner Peyton Sellers will start at the rear of the field in the third heat race after having his qualifying time disallowed due to his "rearend measuring out of tolerance" in post-qualifying tech per NASCAR.

It’s finally race week for the 30th ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway. Nearly 80 cars have filed entries all with their eyes set on taking home a grandfather clock and $32,000. On top of that, the Virginia Triple Crown will see its champion decided, with another $20,000 on the line for the victor and $50,000 in total prize money to be dispersed.

The wait is nearly over. The biggest race on the calendar each year for the Late Model Stock Cars is just over one week away, and the entry list for the 30th edition of the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 at Martinsville Speedway has finally been released with nearly 80 cars and teams entered with the same goal of winning a Martinsville Speedway grandfather clock.

One of the greats in the history of Late Model Stock Car racing will be back behind the wheel of a race car in pursuit of another iconic Grandfather Clock at Martinsville Speedway in the ValleyStar Credit Union 300 on Saturday, September 27.

For the 77th time, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will take on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway this Saturday for a matinee at the Magic Mile. Nearly 30 of the mightiest Modifieds will rip around the one-mile oval in Loudon, New Hampshire for 100 laps on Saturday morning.

Just 100 laps remain in the 2025 Late Model Stock Car season at Virginia’s South Boston Speedway. Two drivers enter Saturday’s season finale in a total deadlock atop the standings with a third driver sitting and lurking in close proximity.
