Bowman Gray Stadium announced today that it will host the Kyle Busch Invitational on Friday, Aug. 21. The event, featuring Legends and Bandoleros races, will honor the life and legacy of Kyle Busch, with all proceeds benefiting The Samantha and Kyle Busch Bundle of Joy Fund. It will be broadcast live on FloSports and the NASCAR Channel.

In the days following the tragic passing of NASCAR champion Kyle Busch there have been plenty of tributes throughout the racing world. On Saturday, Eldora Speedway and Hellraizer Jacks will pay tribute to Busch in their own way, with a special bonus to be paid to the driver of the 51st lap of the race.

Kyle Busch was only tangentially connected to Dirt Late Model racing, just dropping in to dabble in the motorsports discipline was different from his usual NASCAR stock cars.

A trio of NASCAR Cup Series stars will kick off the 2026 racing season in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson and Ty Gibbs are all slated to open the new year by competing in the 2026 Tulsa Shootout, the premier event in Micro Sprint racing.

Last year, the famed Tulsa Shootout celebrated 40 editions – four decades of history and memories, 40 years of champions, countless truckloads of dirt to transform the SageNet Center at Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma, into a world-renowned dirt track.
