Tulsa Shootout Entry List Nearing Record With 1,733 Entries Filed
2026 Tulsa Shootout entry list is closing in on all-time record with 1,733 entries filed to date.

The grandstands have been put up, the dirt has been dropped down, and that means the biggest event in micro sprint racing is right around the corner. With the Tulsa Shootout just a couple of short weeks away, it’s time to take another look at the entry list, which is now closing in on the record for entries.
The current record stands at 1,752 entries across the six divisions, and it was set in 2024. With just a couple weeks left until load-in, the 2026 entry list currently stands at 1,733 entries with more expected to roll in.
So far two classes have eclipsed the 400-entry number. Both the Winged A class and the Stock Non-Wing class have exactly 408 entries. Non-Wing Outlaw has the second-most entries with 364 entries filed. The Winged Outlaw class currently has 235 names on the entry list, while the Restricted A class is pushing 200 entries with 199 at the moment. The Junior Sprints class now has 119 entries.
At the moment, Kyle Larson is not officially on the entry list, though he will be competing in the Winged Outlaw class to defend his Golden Driller from one year ago. Larson will be running a Sprint Car with High Limit Racing at Perth Motorplex in Western Australia to start off the week, then he will high-tail it to the airport to catch the last flight of 2025 back to the states to make it to the SageNet Center in the middle of the day on December 31. As long as that goes to schedule, Larson will be in the expo center in time for heat races for the Winged Outlaw class.

Though the reigning NASCAR Cup Series champion won’t be in more than one class, there will still be plenty of Larsons on track throughout the Tulsa Shootout. His oldest son, Owen, will be racing in the Restricted A, Winged A, and Stock Non-Wing divisions. Owen made his Tulsa Shootout debut one year ago in the Junior Sprint division and won his heat race with an eighth-to-first charge.
There will also still be a Larson in the Junior Sprint division as Audrey Larson makes her Tulsa Shootout debut this year. Audrey scored four victories throughout the 2025 season. Three of those came at Millbridge Speedway in North Carolina, with her most recent victory coming at Red Bluff Outlaws earlier this month.
The Battle of the Busch’s will see its next chapter take place inside the SageNet Center as Kyle Busch and Brexton Busch return to the Tulsa Shootout once again. But this time, the father/son combo will finally get to race against each other. The battleground for that will be in the Winged A class. Brexton, who won the Golden Driller for the Junior Sprints last year, has graduated up to the Winged A class and Restricted A class. In addition to racing Brexton in Winged A, Kyle will also be competing in the Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, and Stock Non-Wing divisions.
Beyond the Buschs and the Larsons, there’s plenty of star power and plenty of drivers who already own a Golden Driller or two or five within the 1,733 entries that have already been filed.
Just a few of the big names who have filed entries are Frank Flud, Kaylee Bryson, Logan Seavey, Wyatt Earnhardt Miller, Joe B. Miller, Blake Hahn, Jason McDougal, Daison Pursley, Ricky Thornton Jr., Tanner Thorson, Brady Bacon, and the reigning Knoxville Nationals champion, Ryan Timms.
