A trio of NASCAR Cup Series stars will kick off the 2026 racing season in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Kyle Busch, Kyle Larson and Ty Gibbs are all slated to open the new year by competing in the 2026 Tulsa Shootout, the premier event in Micro Sprint racing.

After a practice day on Monday, the 41st Annual Tulsa Shootout will officially begin Tuesday, Dec. 30, and run through “Driller Day” on Saturday, Jan. 3. All six days of on-track action will stream live on FloRacing.

Kyle Busch

Busch will return to Tulsa Shootout for the fourth straight year to compete alongside his son, Brexton Busch. Similar to last year, "Rowdy" will once again compete in the four premier divisions -- Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing.

A father-and-son matchup will take place in all four divisions, as Brexton is set to take a step up to compete in all four main classes. "B-Rex" will also be competing in the Restricted A-Class division. The younger Busch scored his first Golden Driller trophy one year ago in the Jr. Sprint division.

Kyle Larson

For the second straight year, Larson will make the trip from Australia to Tulsa, Oklahoma after competing in the High Limit International event at Perth Motorplex.

One year ago, Larson made the most of his journey by claiming Golden Drillers in the Winged Outlaw and Winged A-Class divisions, while also finishing second in a thrilling Non-Wing Outlaw battle with Christopher Bell.

This year, Larson will only be competing in one division -- Winged Outlaw -- while also helping his son (Owen) and daughter (Audrey) as they compete in the event. Owen will be racing in the Restricted A-Class, A-Class and Stock Non-Wing divisions, while Audrey will be making her debut in the Jr. Sprint division.

Ty Gibbs

Ty Gibbs will make his Tulsa Shootout debut in style by competing in all four of the premier divisions -- Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, A-Class and Stock Non-Wing.

Gibbs, who says he embraces and enjoys the challenges of dirt track racing, has competed in a handful of Sprint Car and Midget events over the last two years. In March, he qualified for his first High Limit Racing event at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

Gibbs made his Chili Bowl Nationals debut one year ago and is preparing to return later this month.
