Shamrock Motorsports is proud to announce that Landon Huffman will drive the #98 modified for a multi-year stint, competing on the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and Southern Modified Auto Racing Teams (SMART) Tour beginning in 2024.

Claremont, North Carolina - Fresh off a breakout 2023 campaign, Claremont NC native, Landon Huffman, is set to drive a Jimmy Mooring Racing entry for the entirety of the 2024 CARS Tour late model stock season.

The CARS Tour returns to North Carolina’s Tri-County Motor Speedway this weekend for the first time since August’s thrilling Old North State Nationals that saw Landon Huffman go to victory lane and pocket a nice $30,000 check. With 30 cars entered for this Saturday’s 125-lap showdown, it’s sure to be another wild one.

The racing season has yet to conclude and already silly season for the CARS Tour is under way with the first domino falling on Thursday afternoon as Landon Huffman announced that he will not be back with the Nelson Motorsports team in 2024.

There were times in the last few years where Landon Huffman thought his racing career would be over. There were times when he thought he'd be lucky to just be a weekly racer. There were plenty of times where he thought he'd never get the chance to prove what he could do on a big stage like the CARS Tour. There were also times where Huffman knew if he could just be given a chance that he could show everyone he belongs at the highest level of Late Model Stock Car racing.
