It's the most wonderful time of the year in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Two action packed weeks of racing in The Sooner State kicks off with the 2026 Tulsa Shootout, which begins December 29 and concludes January 3 inside the SageNet Center.

With more than 1,930 entries, a new all-time record, the Tulsa Shootout requires an effective agenda to whittle down gigantic numbers like 462 cars in one class to strictly 24 feature starters.

There are two important things to know about the Tulsa Shootout – when it starts and when the Golden Driller trophies will be given out.

Last year, the famed Tulsa Shootout celebrated 40 editions – four decades of history and memories, 40 years of champions, countless truckloads of dirt to transform the SageNet Center at Expo Square in Tulsa, Oklahoma, into a world-renowned dirt track.

The grandstands have been put up, the dirt has been dropped down, and that means the biggest event in micro sprint racing is right around the corner. With the Tulsa Shootout just a couple of short weeks away, it’s time to take another look at the entry list, which is now closing in on the record for entries.

The 2026 Tulsa Shootout is still two months away, but entries are already pouring in. The event’s website lists 832 drivers registered across six divisions, all set to battle inside Tulsa’s SageNet Center from December 30 to January 3.
