The 2026 Tulsa Shootout is still two months away, but entries are already pouring in. The event’s website lists 832 drivers registered across six divisions, all set to battle inside Tulsa’s SageNet Center from December 30 to January 3.

Drivers entered for the event include a two-time NASCAR Cup Series champion, a Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion and many of the sport's rising stars.

"Rowdy" Kyle Busch is once again heading back to Tulsa this December with plans to compete in all four main classes (Winged Outlaw, Non-Wing Outlaw, Winged A-Class and Stock Non-Wing). Busch will be competing alongside his son, Brexton Busch, in the Winged A-Class division one year after Brexton claimed his first driller trophy in the Junior Sprint division.

2024 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series champion Ricky Thornton Jr. will also be returning to the Tulsa Shootout after a fourth-place finish in last year's Non-Wing Outlaw feature. RTJ is entered in all four of the headline divisions.

USAC National Sprint Car star Briggs Danner, Steven Snyder Jr. and Shark Racing Sprint Car driver Ashton Torgerson are also among the drivers planning to compete in four divisions.

Drivers with Golden Drillers that have filed entries include Blake Hahn, Jason McDougal and Frank Flud.

Additional entries will be filed in the two months leading up to the event. One year ago, more than 1,600 entries were filed prior to the event.

Defending winners of the Tulsa Shootout include Kyle Larson (Winged Outlaw & Winged A-Class), Christopher Bell (Non-Wing Outlaw), Brent Crews (Stock Non-Wing), Haidyn Hansen (Restricted A-Class) and Brexton Busch (Junior Sprints).

The 41st annual Hyper Racing Tulsa Shootout powered by NOS Energy Drink takes place inside the SageNet Center at Expo Square, located on the Tulsa County Fairgrounds. Cars will hit the track for practice on the morning of Monday, December 29, with heat races starting the next morning. The chase for the Golden Drill continues through Saturday, January 3, 2026.
