ROSSBURG, Ohio — If someone told Spencer Hughes that he’d be chasing Brandon Overton under the checkered flag to complete a second-place finish at Eldora Speedway, the Meridian, Miss., driver probably would have been thrilled. After all, Overton, the superstar driver from Evans, Ga., has won three of the last four crown jewel events held at the Tony Stewart-owned half-mile.

ROSSBURG, Ohio  — Chris Ferguson finally won a feature at the famed Eldora Speedway and he was able to enjoy it for exactly … 10 or 15 minutes?

After a full afternoon of preliminary action, the stage has been set for Thursday night's Eldora Million at Eldora Speedway. Throughout the afternoon, drivers earned points using Eldora's "Every Lap Matters" format. Those points have been tallied and used to set the lineup for six heat races that will take place on Thursday evening.

Drivers eager to get on the race track at Eldora Speedway and chase a $1 million prize will need to wait one more day. Due to heavy rain showers at the track on Wednesday night, preliminary action for the Eldora Million has been postponed to Thursday morning.
