Indy 500 Qualifying Draw 2025: See Who Qualifies Where Saturday
Indianapolis 500 qualifications take place Saturday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
The draw has been set for Saturday's qualifications at the 109th Indianapolis 500 presented by Gainbridge. Reigning two-time Indy 500 champion Josef Newgarden drew the second-to-last qualifying spot (33rd of 34) while last year's runner-up Pato O'Ward drew the second spot.

Kyle Larson will qualify 19th. Qualifications on Saturday is the first day of a two-day process to set the 33-car field for the Indy 500. Full-field qualifying goes from 11:00 a.m. – 5:50 p.m. ET.
Each car gets one guaranteed four-lap run around the 2.5-mile oval, with the average speed determining their qualifying position. The order of runs is set by a random draw conducted on Friday.

The fastest 30 cars lock in provisional spots for the race, with positions 13–30 (or 13–33 if there are exactly 33 entries) finalized and unable to re-qualify on Sunday. The top 12 advance to Sunday’s Fast 12 Qualifying for a shot at pole in the Fast Six, and if there are more than 33 entries (e.g., 34), the bottom four (positions 31–34) move to Sunday’s Last Chance Qualifying.
After every car completes its guaranteed run, teams can make additional attempts until 5:50 p.m. FOX Sports 1 has the broadcast from 11:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., FS2 from 1:30 – 4:00 p.m. and FOX from 4:00 — 5:50 p.m.
