The madness is returning to FloRacing in 2023. For the second year in a row, FloRacing will broadcast every Saturday night of action from North Carolina’s legendary Bowman Gray Stadium, affectionately known by its fans as “The Madhouse.”

As part of the landmark streaming rights agreement between NASCAR and FloRacing that made FloRacing the home for all things NASCAR Roots, 2022 was the first year that fans worldwide could watch every week of racing from Bowman Gray Stadium. After a successful first season, Bowman Gray Stadium returns to FloRacing for a second year in a row in 2023.

“We are excited to have FloRacing back again at the Madhouse for each and every event of our 2023 season,” said Loren Pinilis, Bowman Gray Stadium’s public relations director. “We were very proud of the superior production quality that allowed racing fans all over the world to share in the excitement of racing at Bowman Gray Stadium. If you can’t make it out to attend a race in person, FloRacing will give you the dose of action that you crave.”

Located inside a football stadium, the 1/4-mile Bowman Gray Stadium oval hosts racing every Saturday night for the headlining Modified division, the Sportsman division, Street Stocks, and Stadium Stocks.

The season will begin on Saturday, April 22 with the running of the Hayes Jewelers 200, a 200-lap race for the Modifieds. The Hayes Jewelers 200 is the longest and most prestigious race of the season for the Modifieds. In 2022 it was won by 2014 track champion, Danny Bohn of Freehold, New Jersey.

The 2022 season was another historic year for Tim Brown at Bowman Gray Stadium. He entered the year with the most championships of any driver in the history of the Stadium, and added to that by winning his 12th overall championship and second in a row. Brown won his 12th championship without winning a single race all season long, a feat that had never been done before at Bowman Gray Stadium.

FloRacing’s Matthew Dillner will once again be the voice of Bowman Gray Stadium on FloRacing. Dillner served as the play-by-play announcer for Bowman Gray Stadium on FloRacing for the first time in 2022.

“To be a part of bringing this historic track to so many people across America is a big thing,” said Dillner. “I’ve had people from all corners of the country that have watched on FloRacing tell me that attending a race there is now on their bucket list. Knowing the significance of this Stadium to our sport, I will never take the opportunity to call races there for granted.”

A FloSports original film, “Madhouse,” will debut on FloRacing leading into the 2023 Hayes Jewelers 200. The film follows some of the Stadium’s biggest stars as they prepared for the track’s biggest event one year ago. More information on “Madhouse” is still to come.

Bowman Gray Stadium on FloRacing joins other tracks like Hickory Motor Speedway, South Boston Speedway, Langley Speedway, the ARCA Menards Series East and West and the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour under the NASCAR Roots on FloRacing banner for 2023.

More announcements for the 2023 racing season on FloRacing are still to come.
