Thanks to contributions from Jason and Tabitha Manafort, Greg and Venetta Narducci of The Florida Connection, Big Haus USA, Gaston Racing Enterprises, LifeCare Family Chiropractic with Dr. Sean Noel, M & T Heavy Equipment, New England Racing Fuel, NorthEast Race Cars and Speed, the Tri-Track Modified Series, Wild Thing Karts, and WINY 1350am Radio, the purse for the TC 13 Shoot Out has grown to over $6,200 with the race winner guaranteed to take home $1,313. Stafford Speedway is still accepting contributions to the TC 13 Shoot Out purse, which could lead to even more money on the line. With a purse of nearly $9,000 for the regular 40-lap SK Modified® feature event, over $15,000 will be up for grabs for SK Modified® drivers this Friday night.

Ryan Preece Charges To Open Modified Win At Stafford
Aug 21, 2021Stafford Springs, CT -- Open Modified cars returned to Stafford Motor Speedway for their fourth and final visit of the 2021 season on Friday, August 20 for the Lincoln Tech Open 80. NASCAR Cup Series driver Ryan Preece charged his way through the field over the final 31 laps after coming out of the pits during a caution period outside the top-10 to win the Lincoln Tech Open Modified 80.
Chase Dowling Looking To Continue Stafford Hot Streak
Aug 19, 2021Stafford Springs, CT -- No driver comes into the Lincoln Tech Open 80, set for this Friday, August 20 at Stafford Speedway, hotter than Chase Dowling. Dowling and the No. 9 S&S Asphalt Paving team owned by Ben Dodge made their first start together at the end of the 2020 season and won the Tri-Track Open Modified Series event at Stafford. They followed that up by winning the Twisted Tea 80 in June and the Bud Light 80 in July at Stafford and they might have won the CBYD 81 in May if not for a mechanical issue that took Dowling out of the race while leading.
Mike Lichty Crowned King For Third Time At Oswego
Aug 2, 2021OSWEGO, N.Y. – The King of Wings event for winged supermodifieds began at Oswego Speedway in 2009 and Saturday night it was resurrected with Canadian Mike Lichty taking his third victory out of the ten events run over the years. Lichty commented in victory lane after his win that he “wasn't a fan of starting up front because it took a longer run to get up front and checked out”. He thanked Patco Transportation, Craig Reed, Level Motors, and all of his crew, in victory lane as he donned the coveted KOW crown and cape.
