Tim Brown added another milestone to his legendary resume at North Carolina’s Bowman Gray Stadium last weekend, by winning his 12th Modified championship and extending his own record for the most titles of any driver in Bowman Gray Stadium history.

Up until this week, Evan Shotko had been mostly unknown amongst the broader Super Late Model scene. But he’s an unknown no more as Shotko just rattled off two massive wins in a matter of days.

It’s crazy to think that Lee Pulliam hadn’t won a race (as a driver or an owner) since July of 2020, but that was the reality for the four-time NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series national champion and his race team, Lee Pulliam Performance, entering Saturday’s running of the Thunder Road Harley Davidson 200 at South Boston Speedway.

Chris Fleming entered Saturday night’s twin 50-lap Modified features at North Carolina’s Bowman Gray Stadium as the points leader. He left the track known as “The Madhouse” third in points, six points out of the lead thanks to a first-lap pile-up at the start of the second race.

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – A packed house greeted Bowman Gray Stadium competitors as the legendary short track opened its NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series season Saturday night with the annual running of the Hayes Jewelers 200 for the Brad’s Golf Cars Modified division.
