SOUTH BOSTON, Va. — Layne Riggs had never won at South Boston Speedway prior to Saturday’s NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series opening day at the 0.4-mile oval, but by the time the day was over, he had changed that.

When you think of big events in the Late Model Stock Car world, you think of South Boston Speedway. The 4/10-mile oval hosts some of the biggest events and best drivers in the Southeast each year and it all starts this Saturday night, March 19.
