While Australians are dominating the World Series of Sprintcars, Americans extended their invading spree at Archerfield Speedway in Brisbane, Australia, as Logan Schuchart won his second race Down Under in the ninth round of the East Coast Logistics Series on New Year's Day.

The Americans stretched their winning streak at this track to three. Schuchart has one win with Donny Schatz also visiting Victory Lane.

On Monday, Schuchart secured the pole, pulled away from the field early, and led flag to flag.

While Schuchart ran away from the field, Schatz climbed quickly to second after starting ninth. But with 10 laps to go in the 35-lap feature, Schatz attempted to pass for the lead. He got pinched between the berm and Schuchart’s sprinter — spinning in turn one.

Schatz rejoined at the back of the field. Schuchart remained unscathed and returned to the lead.

Western Australia’s Kaiden Manders started alongside Schuchart when the green waved over the A-Main. He fell as far back as fourth by lap 17, but by the time Schatz spun he was positioned in third and inherited second with 10 to go. He held onto that position in the final laps.

American Lucas Wolfe had his best finish Down Under to take the last position on the podium. His previous best was a fifth on Dec. 30 in a feature that was won by Schatz.

Mark Pholi finished fourth after starting sixth. Allan Woods completed the top five.

Schatz climbed back to eighth in the final rundown.
