Jason Meyers Racing Announces Multi-Driver Lineup To Finish 2025
Jason Meyers Racing will feature a multi-driver lineup to finish out the 2025 Sprint Car season.

Jason Meyers Racing announced Tuesday night it'll employ a multi-driver lineup to finish out the 2025 Kubota High Limit Racing season, a rotation that'll feature former World of Outlaws champion Daryn Pittman and West Coast stalwarts Justin Sanders and Trey Starks alongside the team's primary driver, Corey Day.
With the 19-year-old Day racing this Saturday's NASCAR Truck race at Darlington Raceway as he furthers his stock car pursuits as a development driver for Hendrick Motorsports, the 46-year-old Pittman is the first driver to step into the JMR No. 14 at this weekend's Skagit Nationals at Washington's Skagit Raceway.

Washington native Trey Starks takes over for Sept. 4-6's Tuscarora 50 before California's Justin Sanders assumes the bulk of the remaining High Limit races, beginning Sept. 12-13 at Pennsylvania's Lernerville Speedway and finishing Sept. 19-20 at Ohio's Eldora Speedway, Oct. 10-11 at Kansas's Lakeside Speedway and Oct. 17-18's series finale at Texas Motor Speedway.
Day's remaining High Limit races include Sept. 17 at Indiana's Lawrenceburg Speedway, Sept. 27 at New Jersey's Bridgeport Speedway, Sept. 28 at Pennsylvania's Path Valley Speedway Park and Oct. 15 at Missouri's Lucas Oil Speedway. The importance of JMR finishing out the High Limit season is so the team remains eligible to land one of the 10 charter spots that's part of the tour's industry-changing franchise system for 2026 and beyond.
"We are very impressed with what Brad (Sweet) and Kyle (Larson) are doing with the High Limit Racing Series. Our team is committed to maintaining a full-time effort, and by working closely with our partners and a hand-selected group of drivers, we can finish the season strong," Meyers said in a statement. "This approach allows us to showcase incredible talent while continuing to build momentum for the future."
Along with finishing out the High Limit season, Day will also compete in Sept. 18-19's World of Outlaws weekend at Thunderbowl Raceway, Oct. 3-4's National Open at Williams Grove Speedway and Nov. 5-8's World Finals at The Dirt Track at Charlotte.
Pittman, who's ran nine 410 races this year and qualified for the Knoxville Nationals A-main, takes over the JMR No. 14 first in this Thursday's Skagit Nationals opener.
"Jason and I have been good friends for a long time. I'm honored he asked me to step in and help when I could," Pittman said in a statement. "Skagit has been a strong track for me over the years, and I'm looking forward to giving it my best to keep the 14 car up front where it belongs."
Starks, meanwhile, is a two-time winner at Port Royal, picking up wins there in June 2018 and Sept. 2019 on Tuscarora 50 prelim night.
"I'm excited for the opportunity not only to drive one of the best cars out there right now but also to get back to Port Royal, which has always been one of my favorite tracks," Starks said. "Back when I was racing regularly in Pennsylvania, we had a lot of success there. To return for such a prestigious event, especially with High Limit, is something I'm really looking forward to. I don't get to travel as much anymore, so to be back in the mix with the Pennsylvania Posse and the High Limit regulars is going to be special."
As for Sanders, he'll go from interim driving duties of the Ridge & Sons Racing No. 87, which ends at this weekend's Skagit Nationals, to the JMR ride Sept. 12 at Lernerville Speedway. On the High Limit tour this year, he has a pair of wins and five top-10s in eight races.
"I'm very happy and thankful for the opportunity to fill in for another great team and continue on the High Limit tour, which I really enjoy racing," Sander said. "Jason has always provided fast, methodical race cars and has two of my good friends as crew and car chiefs. I'm really looking forward to it, and I also want to thank my car owner back home for allowing me to run these couple weekends."
