Before The Granddaddy of Them All—the Knoxville Nationals—goes down next week at Knoxville Raceway, the 360 Nationals first sets the stage for a lucrative week at Knoxville, Iowa's Marion County Fairgrounds.
Commanding 28 of 30 laps from the pole and holding back Kyle Larson, Rico Abreu earned his first Xtream Powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals crown presented by Great Southern Bank in the 35 running of the event. Larson, who led laps 23 and 24, finished 0.879 of a second behind Abreu at the finish.
Giovanni Scelzi was the feature's hard-charger, finishing eighth from the 17th-starting spot in his first weekend driving for Clauson-Marshall Racing as Tyler Courtney's substitute.
