Before The Granddaddy of Them All—the Knoxville Nationals—goes down next week at Knoxville Raceway, the 360 Nationals first sets the stage for a lucrative, action-packed 10-day stretch at Knoxville, Iowa's Marion County Fairgrounds.

Rico Abreu prevailed in Friday's second qualifying night at the 35th annual Xtream Powered by Mediacom 360 Knoxville Nationals presented by Great Southern Bank in a 20-lap feature that saw three different leaders and four official lead changes.

Ryan Timms led twice for a race-high 10 laps, first taking the lead on Laps 5-8 when he passed pole-starting Cameron Martin — a 360 regular from Ankeny, Iowa — and then from Laps 11-16. From the fifth-starting spot, Abreu led seven total laps, including the final four and Laps 9-11.

Abreu's victory makes him the high-point man after two prelim nights, thus putting him on the pole of Saturday's 30-lap, $35,000-to-win finale. For Saturday's lineups and Friday's results, see below.
