While not official, Tony Stewart has essentially retired from Sprint Car racing as a driver.  His last Sprint Car start came in April 2021 in a United Sprint Car Series event at Talladega Short Track, opting to hand the No. 14 over to Kerry Madsen for the remainder of 2021 before shutting the car down.

While Stewart hasn’t competed in a Sprint Car in over two years, he is still very involved in the sport as a car owner and race promoter.

What Race Track Does Tony Stewart Own?

Tony Stewart is the owner of Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio. Stewart purchased the track from legendary promoter Earl Baltes in 2004. 

The NASCAR Hall of Famer promoted the first-ever $1 Million to win Sprint Car race in July 2023 at the Eldora Million.  Logan Schuchart won the race and pocketed $1,000,000.
