Taking advantage of Jonathan Davenport's lap-61 miscue, 20th-starting Bobby Pierce blew past and into the lead exiting turn two Sunday and captured his second straight $75,000 Show-Me 100. The Oakwood, Ill., driver, who also won Lucas Oil Speedway's biggest race in 2017, took the checkers 1.296 seconds ahead of fellow Illinoisan Brandon Sheppard for his first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory of the season after struggling in both preliminary programs.

Surviving rugged track conditions to grab the lead with six laps remaining, Josh Rice of Crittenden, Ky., won Friday at Lucas Oil Speedway for a $10,000 victory in the rain-postponed 13th annual Cowboy Classic Show-Me 100 prelim. Rice's first Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory of the season came by 2.419 seconds ahead of Garrett Alberson, who led laps 33-39, while Chris Ferguson, who rallied from 14th to lead laps 8-32, was third.

Two-time Show-Me 100 winner Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., ran 40 laps virtually unchallenged in Friday's first preliminary feature at Lucas Oil Speedway for a $10,000 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series victory. The outside front-row starter took the checkers 3.666 seconds ahead of fourth-starting Chris Ferguson in winning the Tribute to Don & Billie Gibson, honoring the Show-Me 100 event founders.
