The Tour-type Modifieds close out their portion of the World Series of Asphalt at New Smyrna Speedway with the running of the Richie Evans Memorial 100. The Pro Late Models are also in action for 100 laps tonight, and the Pro Trucks are on track for the first time this week for 25 laps.

Notes

-The event is named in memory of Richie Evans, the King of the Modifieds. 

-Matt Hirschman has won the last two Richie Evans Memorial 100s, as well as the last two Tour-type Modifieds to be contested this week. Hirschman is also chasing his third World Series of Asphalt championship in a row.

-Jimmy Blewett has not finished off the podium all week. He has three runner-up finishes and one third-place result.

-The Pro Late Models conclude their World Series tonight with the Hart to Heart 100.

Format 

The Tour-type Modifieds will race 100 laps tonight.There will be the chance for controlled pit stops. The starting lineup will be determined by qualifying and an invert of the qualifying results. The invert tonight is five, so fast-qualifier Ron Silk will start fifth and Tyler Rypkema will start from the pole.
