Stephen Kopcik held off Ron Silk to score the victory in Saturday's "Virginia is for Racing Lovers 200" for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Martinsville Speedway. Tyler Rypkema, Eric Goodale, and Austin Beers completed the top five.
Four-time champion and defending Martinsville winner Justin Bonsignore took a hit in the points standings, though the season is still young, thanks to a late-race crash with Luke Baldwin in turn two. Bonsignore finished 24th. Baldwin was credited one spot higher in 23rd.
