New Smyrna Speedway officials have made an update to the schedule for the 60th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing that will be held February 6-14 in “direct response to feedback from Super Late Model and Pro Late Model competitors.”

The Super and Pro Late Model divisions will now see more features and expanded features as compared to what was seen on the original schedule for February’s events. Originally, the Super and Pro Late Model divisions would each run features on just four of the nine nights of the 2026 World Series. In 2025, the Pro Late Models ran six features and the Super Late Models ran five features.

“In direct response to feedback from Super Late Model and Pro Late Model competitors requesting additional track time and expanded feature events, the track has adjusted the nine-night program to deliver longer, more competitive races in these headline divisions,” New Smyrna Speedway officials said in a press release on Tuesday evening.

As a result of the feedback from competitors, the Pro Late Models will run six features and the Super Late Models will run five features, with the race distances for each night to be released soon.

Originally, the 60th Annual World Series of Asphalt was slated to kick off on Friday, February 6 with features for the Super Late Models, Sportsman, Bomber A, and Bomber B divisions. The Pro Late Models have now been added to opening night.

Saturday, February 7, will see the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour kick off its 2026 season. The Super Late Models will now be in action on Saturday night along with the Modifieds instead of the Sportsman division.

Along with that change is now a scheduled off-night for the Super Late Models on Sunday, February 8. The Pro Late Models will now headline “Super Sunday” and be joined by the Sportsman, E-Mod, and 602 Modified divisions.

Monday, February 9 will see the Tour Modifieds open their five-straight nights of racing. The Pro Late Models will also run a feature, along with the 602 Modifieds, and the ASA Stars National Tour will hold its qualifying session for Tuesday’s Clyde Hart Memorial 200.

That leads us to Tuesday, February 10, which will see three headlining divisions in action in one night. The ASA STARS National Tour Super Late Models will headline the night with the running of the 200-lap Clyde Hart Memorial. The Tour Modifieds and Pro Late Models will all be in action as well.

Wednesday night is the night New Smyrna Speedway pays tribute to the late John Blewett III with a 76-lap feature for the Tour Modifieds. The Pro Late Models, Florida Modifieds, and 602 Modifieds were all originally scheduled to run on Wednesday, but now the Super Late Models will be joining them on Wednesday’s racing card.

Thursday night will still conclude all Late Model action as it was originally scheduled to do, but now the Super Late Models will run their final feature of the week on that night as well. The Pro Late Models will conclude their 2026 World Series of Asphalt with the annual Hart to Heart 100. 

Friday night is the penultimate night of the 60th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. It’s also the night that the Tour Modifieds pay tribute to their king with the running of the annual Richie Evans Memorial 100. The Florida Modifieds will also be in action along with Pro Trucks, and the Florida Southern Ground Pounders.

The 60th Annual World Series comes to a close on Valentine’s Day Saturday with the Modifieds of Mayhem headlining the action along with the Southern Sprint Car Shootout Series. The Pro Trucks and Super Stocks will also be in action to bring Speedweek to an end.
