Keelan Harvick, Son Of NASCAR Legend, Wins Snowflake 125 At Just 13
Keelan Harvick won the biggest race of his young, and we mean young, racing career.

It took multiple days, several hours after that and staying up later than most 13-year-olds should — even on a Saturday — but Keelan Harvick made history in Pensacola, Fla.
Racing on an often wet and colder-than-normal Five Flags Speedway, Harvick took the 2025 Snowflake Derby at 4:24 a.m. ET on Dec. 7 to make history.
At 13 years, 4 months and 29 days old, he becomes the youngest winner of a race that often showcases the best young drivers in the sport. The Snowflake 125, part of the festivities at Snowball Derby week that continues on Dec. 7 and Dec. 8, has long been considered a premier Pro Late Model event in the country.

And Harvick delivered a performance fitting of its reputation despite the race’s start being pushed deep into the early morning hours by persistent rain in Pensacola.

The win came in the nation’s biggest Pro Late Model race of the year, and it’s the biggest win of the young driver’s career. Given who his father is, it’s probably not going to be his last.
Kevin Harvick Is One of the Greatest NASCAR Drivers Ever
Keelan Harvick is the son of NASCAR legend Kevin Harvick, a former Cup Series champion. About five years after Kevin won the 2012 Daytona 500, Keelan was born in 2012. Kevin Harvick has more than 600 top-10 finishes in his NASCAR career and 60 wins.
Keelan Harvick Establishing Himself in Racing
The Snowflake 125 win is Keelan Harvick’s biggest victory, and it came in dramatic fashion.
Starting 15th, he methodically picked his way through the field, showing poise far beyond his age. The pivotal moment came after pit stops with 50 laps to go, when Harvick emerged inside the top three and quickly challenged for the lead. A restart with 46 laps remaining briefly derailed his momentum as a bobble dropped him back to fourth, but Harvick regrouped with the composure of a seasoned veteran.
He charged back toward the front and wrestled the lead from Tristan McKee with 24 laps to go, seizing control of a race that had already stretched into the early hours of Sunday morning.
Still, the final test awaited. A late restart with 10 laps to go put pressure on the youngest driver in the field to finish the job, but Harvick delivered once more, pulling away cleanly to capture a milestone victory.
Behind him, McKee finished third, while defending Snowball Derby winner Kaden Honeycutt completed the podium. For Keelan Harvick, the win was more than a breakthrough — it was a defining moment that signaled his arrival on one of racing’s brightest stages.
