Snowball Derby Schedule 2025: Here's The NEW Friday Schedule
The Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida saw Thursday's racing postponed. This means fans are in for quite the day on Friday.

The 2025 Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway was splashed in chaos Thursday when the rain, which had already forced changes the day before, finally fell.
All race activities on Thursday were postponed, and Friday’s action at the Pensacola track is now packed with events as the track once again faces an unfavorable forecast.

Modified races and the Crown Stock Invitational have already been moved to Monday, Dec. 8, and the weather forecast in Pensacola dries out over the weekend.
Another change for Friday is the addition of the Snowball Derby Last Chance Qualifier, which was originally scheduled for Saturday. This will allow teams who fail to qualify for the race the opportunity to head home a day earlier as more precipitation is in the forecast for Saturday.
The 58th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags is one of the marquee race events on the schedule every December, and the event is no stranger to managing weather delays. Here’s a look at the new Snowball Derby Friday schedule.

What Is The Snowball Derby?
The Snowball Derby is a 300-lap Super Late Model race, but more importantly, it’s the biggest short track race contested on pavement each year. This year, a $50,000 prize and the coveted Tom Dawson trophy will once again be up for grabs.
The Super Late Model race is also the culmination of four days of racing at Five Flags Speedway. The event also includes the biggest Pro Late Model race of the year, the Snowflake 125, on Saturday night, which will also be broadcast live on FloRacing.
Where Is The Snowball Derby Held?
The Snowball Derby is held each year at Five Flags Speedway in Pensacola, Florida. Five Flags Speedway is a fast, but extremely abrasive half-mile oval. In addition to being the home of the Snowball Derby, Five Flags Speedway is also home to the Blizzard Series for Super Late Models, the Allen Turner Pro Late Models, and the “Sunshine State 200” for the ASA STARS National Tour.
