The 58th Annual Snowball Derby presented by FloSports returns to Five Flags Speedway from Dec. 3–7, drawing many of the nation’s top Super Late Model drivers to Pensacola for short track racing’s most prestigious pavement event. 

The Derby anchors a full week of activity and remains the sport’s defining December showcase.

The race is a 300-lap Super Late Model feature and offers a $50,000 prize alongside the coveted Tom Dawson trophy. It also caps five days of on-track action that includes the Snowflake 125, the biggest Pro Late Model race of the year, which runs Saturday night and streams live on FloRacing. 

The Derby’s home, Five Flags Speedway, is a fast but abrasive half-mile oval that also hosts the Blizzard Series, Allen Turner Pro Late Models and the “Sunshine State 200” for the ASA STARS National Tour.

Fans can watch the Snowball Derby live exclusively on FloRacing, with full streaming access available across Roku, Fire TV, Chromecast, Apple TV and the FloSports app. 

This year’s entry list features a stacked lineup, including Michael Atwell, Erik Jones, Johnny Sauter, Noah Gragson, Kaden Honeycutt, Bubba Pollard, Cole Butcher, Kyle Busch, Stephen Nasse, Ty Majeski, Derek Thorn and David Gilliland.

When a race weekend is set in Florida, weather always seems to find a way to sneak its way into the action! 

Due to inclement rain on Friday, Dec. 5, all of the 58th annual Snowball Derby  Modifieds of Mayhem on-track action has been moved to Monday, Dec. 8. Time have not been given for these changes, but will be published as soon as the information becomes available.
