PDRA Breaks Silence On 2026 Season With Letter To Racing Family

The PDRA has made a bold statement in a letter to their 'racing family' today as rumors had been flying about the future of the series.

To Our Racing Family,

We want to take the opportunity to say thank you for the great 2025 racing season with the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series. It was arguably one of the most competitive seasons of racing that we’ve ever seen across all classes throughout the entire year, a huge congratulations goes out to all our champions, top points finishers and event winners throughout the season. We also would like to give a thank you to everyone who came to a PDRA event this season, only if it was one to give us a chance or if we were at your local facility. Our great host facilities in Bristol Dragway, GALOT Motorsports Park, Maryland International Raceway, Summit Motorsports Park, US131 Motorsports Park and Virginia Motorsports Park – we thank you all for your dedication to the sport and to helping us provide for the series and the racers who compete at each event. A final note of appreciation to all the marketing partners for believing in the series and for supporting in every way possible to help provide a safe racing experience for all and to the PDRA staff for always putting their best foot forward on race weekends.

Over the last few months, there have been several rumors regarding the PDRA Drag Racing Series. We are not a fan of the rumor mill and never will be. Throughout this time, we chose to keep our heads down and complete the 2025 season without any wavering and dedication to the ones who believed in us to provide a top level of event coordination, completion and competition through the remainder of the calendar. While there were several conversations with family, close friends, staff members and more, we were reminded of why we do this thing called PDRA. We love the community that families have created within the PDRA, we love the top-notch level of competition from all competitors, and we are overwhelmed by the support that we receive from racers, partners, media and our loyal fan base. With all that said, we are always reminded at the end of the day as to why we do this.

After 12 seasons of PDRA Drag Racing, we are not ready to stop here. See you in 2026.
