Now that the leaves are changing colors and the temperatures are falling, next year’s racing season is already right around the corner. With that in mind, New Smyrna Speedway officials have already released their schedule for the 60th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing to be held February 6-14 in the shadow of the Daytona 500.

In total, 15 divisions will partake in the annual mid-winter festival of speed across nine nights of action at the high-banked half-mile oval in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and ASA STARS National Tour as featured headliners.

But the biggest change is that there will only be four nights of racing for each Late Model division. The Super Late Models will run Friday, Sunday, Monday, and will conclude on Tuesday. The Pro Late Models will race on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and conclude on Thursday with the Hart to Heart 100.

It all kicks off on Friday, February 6 with four divisions in action, including the Super Late Models, Sportsman, Bomber A, and Bomber B classes.

Then on Saturday, February 7, the mighty modifieds roll into town for the season-opener for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour. 2026 will mark the fifth year in a row that the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour has opened its season at New Smyrna Speedway dating back to 2022. Patrick Emerling scored the victory in 2025 after a heroic back-to-the-front drive through the field. The Modifieds will be joined on the card by the Sportsman division.

The next day is “Super Sunday” at New Smyrna Speedway as the Super Late Models once again take center stage. The 602 Modifieds will run their first of four races that night, and the E-Mods will also be on the card.

The Pro Late Models kick off their Speedweek on Monday night as they join the Super Late Models in action. The Tour Modifieds also kick off their chase for the World Series championship on Monday night. The 602 Modifieds are back in action for their second night of the World Series.

Tuesday night marks the return of the ASA STARS National Tour to New Smyrna Speedway for the second year in a row with the running of the annual Clyde Hart Memorial 200, as well as the final night for the Super Late Models during the 60th Annual World Series. In 2025 it was Gavan Boschele scoring the biggest win of his young career as he beat the likes of Bubba Pollard, Stephen Nasse, and Ty Majeski to win the Clyde Hart Memorial 200. The Pro Late Models and Tour Modifieds will also be in action on Tuesday night.

On Wednesday night the Tour Modifieds will run 76 laps in memory of John Blewett III. The Pro Late Models and 602 Modifieds will be in action, along with the Florida Modifieds who will run their first race of the 60th World Series.

Thursday night will conclude all Late Model action as the Pro Late Models run the Hart to Heart 100. The Tour Modifieds, 602 Modifieds, and Florida Southern Ground Pounders will also be on Thursday’s card.

Friday night is the penultimate night of the 60th Annual World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing at New Smyrna Speedway. It’s also the night that the Tour Modifieds pay tribute to their king with the running of the annual Richie Evans Memorial 100. The Florida Modifieds will also be in action along with Pro Trucks, the Florida Southern Ground Pounders, and Winged Sprint Cars will also fly around New Smyrna Speedway.

The 60th Annual World Series comes to a close on Valentine’s Day Saturday with the Modifieds of Mayhem headlining the action along with the Southern Sprint Car Shootout Series. The Pro Trucks and Super Stocks will also be in action to bring Speedweek to an end.
