The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour produced another dramatic finish Saturday at New Hampshire Motor Speedway. In a chaotic last-lap scramble, Tyler Rypkema emerged as the winner of the Mohegan Sun 100 — crossing the line first before needing a tow to victory lane.
Rypkema used a last-lap bump on Justin Bonsignore to take the lead in turn three before contact between the two drivers resulted in Rypkema's left front tire flying off just before the finish line.

Despite rolling on three wheels, Rypkema crossed the finish line first to score his first career NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour victory. The win is also his first career victory at "The Magic Mile."
Craig Lutz, who already scored big wins at Richmond Raceway and North Wilkesboro Speedway this year, completed the podium. New Hampshire native Andy Seuss put on a late charge to finish fourth and Matt Hirschman completed the top five after starting 25th.
