Kubota High Limit Racing returned to Lernerville Speedway for the second time this 2025 season in the two-day Commonwealth Clash that started Friday and ended Saturday at the Sarver, Pa., racetrack.
A night after Tanner Thorson became a first-time High Limit winner, Daison Pursley followed suit with his maiden series victory as the touring rookie fought back six-time reigning national Sprint Car champion Brad Sweet for the $30,000 victory. Pursley led the final 11 of 35 laps after starting from the pole and slipping back to as low as fourth from laps 11-20.
Sweet, who led laps 20-24, started sixth and finished 2.036 seconds behind Pursley. Rico Abreu led laps 2-19 before giving way to Sweet on lap 20.
