Results from Friday's Kubota High Limit Racing Commonwealth Clash at Lernerville Speedway.

Kubota High Limit Racing returns to Lernerville Speedway for the second time this 2025 season in the two-day Commonwealth Clash that starts Friday and concludes Saturday at the Sarver, Pa., racetrack.
Charging from the 12th-starting spot in thrilling fashion, Tanner Thorson overtook race-long pacesetter Brad Sweet with three laps remaining for his first career full-field High Limit victory and first full-field national touring winged Sprint Car victory. Thorson, who won a Gold Cup semifeature last August, beat Sweet, the six-time reigning national champ who led the opening 27 laps, by 1.131 seconds.
Second-starting Daison Pursley rounded out the podium in third, tying his career-best High Limit finish that came two weeks ago in Aug. 30's Skagit Nationals at Washington's Skagit Speedway. Hometown racer Sye Lynch was the biggest mover of the feature, finishing fifth from the 19th-starting spot.
