The World 100 at Eldora Speedway kicks off on Sept. 4. The race comes some pretty big cash, here’s everything to know about the purse for this event.

The 55th running of the World 100 is scheduled to take place Sept. 4-6. With 79 drivers currently entered to compete in the race, the total payout from prelims to the end of the weekend exceeds $600,000.
With multiple chances for drivers to win some cash, the hunt for the prize begins Thursday, Sept 4. in the preliminary races and will conclude Friday, Sept 5. With a top payout of $12,000, the pressure is on for the twin 25-lap prelims. Drivers will not walk away empty handed though as the 16th-26th racers are still guaranteed a $1,000.

The main event and the ultimate grand prize awaits the final field on Saturday, Sept 6. The 100 lap finale is surely a high-risk for high-reward scenario. With $72,000 heading home with the winner, the stakes are high. While driving in the World 100 is an achievement of its own, the 23rd-28th driver will still walk away with $5,500 for their efforts.
