It was the 64th annual NOS Energy Drink Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey's on Saturday at Knoxville Raceway where Sprint Car racing's biggest event of the year produced more history.

Dominating from start to finish, 18-year-old Ryan Timms cruised to his first career Knoxville Nationals title, leading all 50 laps from the pole to top Rico Abreu by 2.828 seconds. Timms (18 years, 11 months) is the youngest winner since Kenny Weld won at 18 years old, nine months in 1964.

It's also Timms's first career nationally touring win, but sixth overall win this year at Knoxville Raceway as a weekly regular at the track driving for car owner Shane Liebig. David Gravel finished third from the 21st-starting spot while Carson Macedo finished fourth after running second most of the distance.

Kyle Larson blew a right-rear tire running eighth with four laps to go.
