Beginning on Aug. 1, drivers will head to the 2025 CARS Tour Throwback Classic at Hickory Motor Speedway for the biggest night in history of Pavement Late Model Racing. 

Not only is it an event where drivers will dawn special throwback attire and wraps, adding an extra incentive and prize, they will compete for the biggest purse in the history of the CARS Tour.

Here's everything to know about the Hickory Throwback Classic.

How Much Is The Purse At The 2025 Hickory Throwback Classic?

The winner of each division of the Throwback Classic will take home a record-breaking amount of money with the largest single-night payout in the history of pavement Late Model racing. The Late Model Stock Car winner will receive a check for $50,000 and the Pro Late Model winner will take home $30,000. 

But the earnings don't stop there. Qualifying for the Late Model Stock Car final race will ensure a minimum payout of $2,500, while qualifying for the Pro Late Model race secures at least $1,500. 

The second place finisher will take home $7,500 for the LMSC race and $5,000 in the Pro Late Model race, giving the drivers extra incentive to go for the victory.

To top off the winners, drivers also have the chance to take home an extra $1,500 by winning the "Best Appearing Throwback" contest, a fan vote. 

2025 CARS Tour Throwback Classic Schedule

Drivers will first take to the track for qualifying on Aug. 1, beginning at 7:40PM ET. On Aug. 2, drivers will take the track again at 7:30 p.m. ET for the final competition. 

How To Watch 2025 CARS Tour Throwback Classic At Hickory Motor Speedway

The 2025 CARS Tour Throwback Classic will be broadcasted exclusively on FloRacing. The event will begin with qualifying on Friday, August 1, beginning at 7:40 PM ET. Finals in both divisions, Late Model Stock Car and Pro Late Model, will begin at 7:30 PM ET on Saturday, August 2.
