A new king will rise Saturday night at Eldora Speedway during the 42nd Kings Royal with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series. This iconic crown jewel event will award a massive $200,000 to the winner.

Eldora Speedway Weather Update
A rain storm passed through the Rossubrg, Ohio area around 5 p.m. ET. Track drying efforts began shortly after 6 p.m. and the driver's meeting began at 6:15 p.m. Officials plan to begin hot laps at approximately 7 p.m. ET.

Kings Royal Qualifying Format
Saturday night's format will be a somewhat standard World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series format... with one exception. Following the completion of qualifying, the "Wheel of Misfortune" will be spun to determine the invert (between zero and six) for heat race lineups.
Six heat races will each qualify the top three finishers to the Kings Royal main event. Following heat races, the top two drivers in qualifying that fail to qualify through heat races will be slotted into the 19th and 20th positions in the lineup.
The final four drivers in the 24-car field will be determined via the Last Chance Showdown.
