2025 Lucas Oil Late Model Results At Atomic Speedway, July 4
Results from Friday's Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series event at Ohio's Atomic Speedway.

The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series nears the halfway point of the season this weekend, starting Friday at Ohio's Atomic Speedway, the 25th race event of the tour's 51-race schedule that went for 50 laps and $25,000-to-win.
Surviving a very rough-and-tumble racing surface that knocked out five drivers that ran inside the top-10, including early leader Carson Ferguson, Brandon Sheppard emerged victorious for his first Lucas Oil win of the season.
Sheppard led the final 46 laps after Ferguson, who had apparent engine issues, exited the race under the lap-five caution period that was brought out for a spinning Hudson O'Neal.
Among drivers who couldn't finish Friday's race of attrition: fifth-running Tyler Carpenter, whose No. 28 went up smoke on lap seven; third-running Brandon Overton who slowed on lap 10; fifth-running Garrett Alberson, who pulled off the track on lap 23; second-running Ricky Thornton Jr., who reportedly broke a radiator on lap 24; 10th-running Freddie Carpenter and second-running Devin Moran, who slowed off the track on lap 46.
