It all kicks off with Friday’s 30-lap, $5,000-to-win program and wraps up Saturday with a $13,004-to-win program. This is the second event for the Iron-Man Northern Series, which is in its first season after splintering from the Iron-Man Series in the offseason. Neither of the Chris Tilley-promoted series have ever visited Atomic. Jonathan Davenport of Blairsville, Ga., won the tour’s season-opener at West Virginia Motor Speedway. Modifieds ($1,500-to-win Friday and $2,204-to-win Saturday) and sport mods are on the weekend card.
