Entry List: NASCAR Modified Tour Heads To Seekonk Speedway
Entry list for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour at Seekonk Speedway on Saturday, May 31, 2025.

After one week off, the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour heads to Massachusetts for its third race of the season on Saturday at the Seekonk Speedway. Craig Lutz took the victory at North Wilkesboro Speedway and took over the points lead heading into Saturday’s race at “The ‘Konk.”
As a result, Lutz headlines our entry list spotlight. The win at North Wilkesboro was the fifth of Lutz’s career and broke a winless streak that dated back to 2022. Lutz led 45 of the 150 laps, and now leads the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour points standings for the first time in his career. However, Lutz now heads to a Seekonk track that has left him a bit perplexed throughout his NWMT career. In six starts, Lutz has two top-10 finishes and one top five. He finished third back in 2019.
Lutz leads the points standings by just one point over the four-time and defending NWMT champion, Justin Bonsignore. It’s fair to say that the first three races of 2025 have not gone to plan for the No. 51 team. Bonsignore had to rally from down two laps to finish third at the season-opener at New Smyrna Speedway in February. Contact on pit road and a bad final restart left him with a fifth-place finish. Bonsignore triggered a multi-car crash at North Wilkesboro on a restart that left him with some damage as well. He rallied once again after that to finish third again. But Seekonk might be what Bonsignore needs to get his first win of the year. He has one victory in six NWMT starts there, but has never finished outside the top 10, and has finished outside the top five just one time.
Bonsignore is tied for second in points at the moment with Austin Beers. Beers has not finished outside the top five in three races so far this season, but Beers also has yet to finish on the podium this season as well. The Northampton, Pennsylvania driver has finished fifth twice (New Smyrna and North Wilkesboro), and fourth at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park in the second race of the season. Beers has made just two NWMT starts at Seekonk. He finished eighth in his track debut in 2023, but scored a runner-up finish to his neighbor, Matt Hirschman, last season.
Sitting fourth in points just four points out of the lead is rookie driver Luke Baldwin. The grandson of “Tiger” Tom Baldwin and son of 2002 Daytona 500 champion crew chief Tommy Baldwin Jr. has been lightning quick to start off the season. Baldwin has scored two poles in three races (New Smyrna and North Wilkesboro), and has finished in the top five in two of the three races as well. The only blemish so far has been a 14th-place finish at Thompson in March, but otherwise Baldwin has been a contender for a win. Baldwin finished fourth at New Smyrna after having to rally from a botched pit strategy on his part, and finished second to Lutz at North Wilkesboro last time out.
Saturday’s 150-lap race at Seekonk Speedway will be streamed live on FloRacing at 7:45 p.m. ET. Race fans can subscribe to FloRacing by clicking here.
