Entry List: 40+ ACT Late Models Entered For Thunder Road Opener
More than 40 drivers are on the entry list for the season-opening ACT Community Bank 150 at Thunder Road Speedbowl.

The 66th year of racing at Thunder Road Speedbowl will begin with a bang this Sunday, May 4 with the 27th running of the Community Bank 150 for American-Canadian Tour Late Models. A large field of 40+ drivers are on the entry list for the traditional season-opening event at "The Nation's Site of Excitement."
Five former American-Canadian Tour champions are among the 41 pre-entered drivers on the entry list as of Wednesday. Defending champion Gabe Brown, two-time champion D.J. Shaw, 2020 champion Jimmy Hebert, 2014 champion Joey Polewarczyk Jr. and 2008 champion Patrick Laperle have all filed entries for the second race of the ACT season.
Brown enters the race with plenty of momentum after winning the ACT season-opening Northeast Classic at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in April.
In addition to ACT champions, there will be plenty of local star power in attendance as well with six former Thunder Road Late Model champions on the entry list. Defending champion Kaiden Fisher, 2023 champion Stephen Donahue, 2022 champion Christopher Pelkey, three-time champion Jason Corliss, two-time champion Scott Dragon and 2017 champion Bobby Therrien are all entered for Sunday's race.
Pelkey enters the race as the defending winner, while Jason Corliss comes in having won four of the last seven Community Bank 150s. Brooks Clark, who won the race in 2021, is the only other previous race winner entered for this year's event.
Other notables entered for Sunday's race include eight-time ACT winner Derek Gluchacki, former NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series winner Raphael Lessard, 11-time Thunder Road Late Model winner Cody Blake and 2024 Thunder Road Flying Tiger champion Brandon Gray.
The 27th Annual Community Bank 150 begins Saturday morning with a free-to-the-public car show at the track from 8:45 a.m. to 11 a.m. Practice will begin shortly after at 11:45 a.m.
Sunday's on-track activities being with practice at 10 a.m. The Thunder Road Class Day Ceremony begins at 12:55 p.m., followed by the start of heat racing at 1:30 p.m. ET.
