Justin Peck Chasing Big Goals With Rudeen And High Limit Racing In 2025
Justin Peck has teamed up with Rudeen Racing and has lofty goals for the 2025 racing season with Kubota High Limit Racing.

When you come out of the gates as fast as Justin Peck and Rudeen Racing have, the expectations rise quickly in the cutthroat sport of Sprint Car Racing.
Reaching a deal in late October and racing together by early November, the new pairing in the No. 26 put up back-to-back podiums at the World of Outlaws World Finals to close out 2024. They’ve already started 2025 with the highest of highs after sweeping all three nights of the ASCS National Tour portion at the DIRTcar Nationals and then adding three more top-10s with the World of Outlaws at Volusia Speedway Park.

That immediate success has lit a fire under the 26-year-old Monrovia, Indiana pilot.
“I set some pretty lofty goals for myself, I said I wanted to win 10 races this year,” Peck mentioned. “I want eight High Limit wins and two World of Outlaws wins, and then I want to run podium in the championship.”
The irony in what could turn out to be a career year for Peck is it began with a frantic rush simply searching for a team to race for in 2025.
“We did that final race at Texas on Saturday, had the banquet on Sunday, and Monday is when I found out that I didn’t have a ride,” he recalled. “So, that whole next week was crazy stressful for me. I didn’t know where or who was even available because at that time in late October, most teams that are racing on the road already have their plans for next year set. I remember calling crew chiefs and owners left and right just hoping I would get lucky at that point. I got ahold of the #26 crew chief Tyler Tessemaker and he talked to Kevin Rudeen, then it turned into let’s sit down at Trophy Cup this weekend. It was relieving to find a good situation that quick, but it was stressful for a few days.”
After a season in which he won with High Limit at Eldora, racked up 24 total top-five finishes, and finished seventh in the series standings, an additional win that weekend of their meeting at Tulare’s Trophy Cup helped seal the deal for Kevin Rudeen in hiring Peck to drive for him in 2025.
Since then, he’s loved every minute of piloting the Skagit Speedway, Rayce Rudeen Foundation, Ford Performance, Hager Realty Services, Rudeen Management No. 26.
“It’s felt great,” he said of the car. “From the first time I got into that thing, the package has been pretty much exactly what I want to feel as a driver. We’ve done some fine-tuning and made a few tweaks, but where we’re at now is just getting used to the Ford stuff and dialing in the engine program. For me, I’m a guy that wants that thing to rip at full song and figure out how much power to take away from there. As far as the handling standpoint, we’re right where we need to be.”
Topping 27 career Winged Sprint Car races, Peck’s win list ranges from big, sweeping half-miles to tight and intense bullrings. With Kubota High Limit Racing crown jewels including the $100,000-to-win Gold Cup Race of Champions on August 21-23 and the $102,626-to-win Skagit Nationals on August 28-30, this self-proclaimed bullring guy is most excited for the short tracks with his new team.
“I think the #26 stuff has always shined on bullring tracks and personally, as a driver, I love the bullrings the most,” he noted. “Places like Placerville, Chico, Skagit, Kokomo come to my mind, but I honestly think the race of the year could end up being Path Valley, and I haven’t even raced there yet. I’m excited to get to a lot of those tracks and feel out our package there.”
Among the 20 venues he’s won at, he’ll return to six under High Limit sanction this year with those places being California’s Thunderbowl Raceway (March 19 & August 15), Indiana’s Kokomo Speedway (May 12), New York’s Utica-Rome Speedway (May 17), Pennsylvania’s Port Royal Speedway (May 23-25 & September 4-6), Ohio’s Eldora Speedway (July 16-17 & September 19-20), and New Jersey’s Bridgeport Speedway (September 27).
Of the 35 tracks scheduled this year, Peck will compete at 11 for the first time in his career including Las Vegas Motor Speedway (NV), Bakersfield Speedway at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway (CA), Perris Auto Speedway (CA), Central Arizona Speedway (AZ), Route 66 Motor Speedway (TX), Dodge City Raceway Park (KS), Texarkana 67 Speedway (AR), 141 Speedway (WI), Red Cedar Speedway (WI), Florence Speedway (KY), and Path Valley Speedway Park (PA).
Peck’s 2025 campaign with Kubota High Limit Racing will begin at Las Vegas Motor Speedway with a two-day event on March 13 and 15. The 60-race tour will conclude with All-In Championship Weekend at Texas Motor Speedway on October 17 and 18. Tickets for select events are now available here.
