Brittney Zamora will soon become just the second female driver to compete in a SMART Modified Tour race. Zamora, a Washington native who has competed primarily in Late Models during her career, will make her SMART Modified Tour debut on Saturday, July 1 at Caraway Speedway. 

Zamora will drive the No. 01 Modified typically driven by Brian Weber, as Weber will be racing in the Carolina Crate Modified event at Franklin County Speedway that night. 

"I am thankful that Brian Weber and his race team chose me to represent BWR and trust me to compete with their team name," Zamora said in a press release issued on Twitter. "I have watched and supported the SMART Modified Tour for awhile now and it's exciting to see how I stack up against such a talented field."

Zamora is a two-time Northwest Super Late Model Series champion with four wins to her credit. She is also a two-time ARCA Menards Series West polesitter and finished fifth in the 2019 ARCA West point standings. 

In 2022, Zamora recorded three top-five finishes in the Show Me The Money Pro Late Model Series at Montgomery Motor Speedway and qualified for the Snowflake 100 during Snowball Derby week at Five Flags Speedway. 

Saturday's SMART Modified Tour event at Caraway Speedway will feature a talented field of nearly 30 Modified drivers including former NASCAR Cup Series champion Bobby Labonte, Bowman Gray standouts Burt Myers and Jason Myers, as well as defending SMART champion Caleb Heady.
