A look at the starting lineups for the all-important Dirt Late Model Dream heat races at Eldora Speedway.

Following two nights of preliminary racing on Thursday and Friday at Eldora Speedway, the heat race lineups are set for the 29th Dirt Late Model Dream on Saturday night. 

Throughout the first two nights at "The Big E," Dirt Late Model drivers earned points every time they hit the track during qualifying, heat races, last chance showdowns and preliminary features. Combined point totals from the first two nights helped set the starting lineups for Saturday's heat races.

2023 Dirt Late Model Dream at Eldora Speedway

Jonathan Davenport, who earned the most points over the first two nights, spun the "Wheel of Misfortune" following Friday night's features. Davenport's spin landed on the number three, which means that a three-car invert is in place for each of the six heat races. 

Lineups for all six heat races can be viewed at the bottom of this story. 

The top three finishers in each of the six heat races will transfer to the $129,000-to-win main event. Out of those who fail to transfer to the main event through heat races, the top two points earners entering the night will be given the 19th and 20th starting positions. A pair of 20-lap B-Features will each transfer the top three finishers to complete the 26-car starting lineup.

Jonathan Davenport and Hudson O'Neal, the top two drivers in the "Every Lap Matters" point standings, are the only two drivers currently guaranteed to have a spot in the starting lineup.
