Lyle Barnett Runs To Mason Wright After Scary Crash At NHRA Route 66 Nats

NHRA Pro Mod rookie, Mason Wright walks away from a scary ride in the first round of qualifying at the Route 66 Nationals in Chicago on Friday. 

The Elite Motorsports driver emerged quickly and was assessed by the safety officials before being cleared, but his weekend comes to a screeching halt after the incident. Former Elite Motorsports Pro Mod driver, Lyle Barnett, is seen running in fire suit and helmet to the scene of the crash to assure his competitor and friend is OK showing top tier sportsmanship as he is no stranger to on-track incidents.
