All eyes of the auto racing world will be on North Wilkesboro Speedway this week as the legendary track is back in the spotlight as NASCAR returns to the track for the first time since 1996. 

North Wilkesboro Speedway is hosting a handful of races this week and will culminate with the NASCAR All Star Race on Sunday, May 21.

The track was dormant for years before Dale Earnhardt Jr. and the American Rescue Plan Act helped revive the speedway. The track re-opened in 2022 and NASCAR announced it would return to the track last fall. 

That race week is finally here and it has hit North Wilkesboro in style. There are events all week. Here is the schedule.

• Tuesday, May 16: ASA STARS National Series 
• Wednesday, May 17: CARS Tour 
• Friday, May 19: All-Star Friday 
• Saturday, May 20: NASCAR CRAFTSMAN Trucks, Tyson 250
• Sunday, May 21: NASCAR All-Star Race

Dierks Bentley Concert At North Wilkesboro Speedway 

Country music star Dierks Bentley will perform at North Wilkesboro Speedway on May 21 as part of the NASCAR race festivities. The NASCAR Open is also scheduled for Sunday. 

When is Chase Elliott Racing at North Wilkesboro Speedway?

Chase Elliott will race in the ASA STARS National Series on May 16. He will also race in the NASCAR All-Star Race. 

Dale Earnhardt, Kevin Harvick are Racing in the CARS Tour At North Wilkesboro Speedway

The CARS Tour entry list on May 17 is loaded. Earnhardt and fellow CARS Tour co-owner Kevin Harvick will race in the event. Here's the entry list:
