The Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series offseason comes to an end this week as the 2026 season kicks off at the KTR Drag Racing Carolina Nationals presented by Pee Dee Fleet, March 25-28, at Darlington Dragway. The first of seven races on the 2026 PDRA schedule, the Carolina Nationals marks the series’ return to Hartsville, South Carolina, for the first time since 2023. Two headlining Pro Modified classes and a loaded lineup of supporting professional and sportsman categories will make for a weekend of nonstop action.

After a rainy forecast led to the cancellation of the most recent event on the 2025 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series tour last month, the all-eighth-mile drag racing series is rolling full steam ahead to Maryland International Raceway this weekend. The BigStuff Total Power Management North vs. South Shootout, June 12-14, marks the halfway point in the eight-race PDRA schedule. It’s also the second-to-last race for drivers to earn points towards a spot in the Summit Racing Equipment PDRA ProStars all-star event at the end of the year.

Kurt won in WS Construction Pro Boost presented by P2 Contracting and Ty-Drive and Ethan was victorious in Liberty’s Gears Pro Street presented by Menscer Motorsports at Virginia Motorsports Park, the second of eight races on the 2025 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series schedule.

Following a hot start a few weeks ago, the 2025 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series season will continue this weekend at the Travis Mills Foundation Mid-Atlantic Showdown presented by Red Line Shirt Club, May 1-3, at Virginia Motorsports Park. The first of two races on the schedule at the PDRA’s home track, the Mid-Atlantic Showdown will feature competition in all seven of the series heads-up categories, as well as several sportsman and Jr. Dragster classes.

The Red Line Synthetic Oil Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) announced today its eight-race 2025 schedule, coming after a successful campaign through the 2024 calendar year. The series will return to the six familiar racetracks throughout the East Coast and Midwest that they ventured to in 2024 yet again, starting at GALOT Motorsports Park and finishing at Virginia Motorsports Park, as in years past.

Reigning Pro Boost world champion Jason Harris raced to victory Sunday afternoon at the PDRA Pro Line Racing Brian Olson Memorial World Finals presented by ProCharger at Virginia Motorsport Park. The win put an exclamation mark on the end of his second consecutive world championship season in WS Construction Pro Boost presented by P2 Contracting and Ty-Drive, as he secured the title earlier in the day. In the final round, Harris recorded a 3.595-second pass at 209.20 MPH to defeat Jason Lee and his 3.629 at 209.33.

Reigning Pro Boost world champion Jason Harris took over the points lead in WS Construction Pro Boost presented by P2 Contracting and Ty-Drive Saturday night when he earned his second consecutive win of the season. In a side-by-side 3.62-second final round against Todd “King Tut” Tutterow, Harris turned on the win light by five thousandths of a second to claim the ProFabrication PDRA DragWars presented by PST Driveshafts event win. It was a rematch of the final round at the 2024 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series season opener at GALOT Motorsports Park, as well as the first GALOT win for the Pittsboro, North Carolina, native.

For the first time in the 10-year history of the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series, the all-eighth-mile series will head to Tennessee’s Bristol Dragway this weekend for the Thunder Valley Throwdown. Set for Aug. 22-24, the Thunder Valley Throwdown is the sixth of eight championship events on the 2024 PDRA schedule. All 14 of the PDRA’s professional, sportsman, and Jr. Dragster divisions will be in competition at the legendary track known as “Thunder Valley.”

Two weeks after a record-setting start to the 2024 season, the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series will be back on track this weekend at the Kaeser Compressors Mid-Atlantic Showdown presented by Classic Graphix. Set for April 18-20, the Mid-Atlantic Showdown will feature a wide range of racing action in the PDRA’s professional, sportsman, and Jr. Dragster classes as racers from across the country compete at the series’ “home track,” Virginia Motorsports Park (VMP).

Longtime nitrous doorslammer racer Brian Shrader broke through to claim his first Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) Switzer Dynamics Pro Nitrous victory Saturday night at the season-opening Summit Racing Equipment East Coast Nationals presented by FuelTech at GALOT Motorsports Park. Pro Nitrous was guaranteed a first-time winner, as Shrader defeated Fredy Scriba in the final round at the first of eight championship points races on the 2024 Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series schedule.

Derek Ward’s fast-paced start to the 2024 Pro Modified season continued Friday night when he lowered the Professional Drag Racers Association (PDRA) Pro Boost elapsed time national record to qualify No. 1 at the Summit Racing Equipment East Coast Nationals presented by FuelTech at GALOT Motorsports Park. Racing at the Red Line Oil PDRA Drag Racing Series season opener, Ward recorded a 3.555-second pass at 211.76 MPH in the final qualifying session to set the record and claim his first No. 1 qualifier award in WS Construction Pro Boost presented by P2 Contracting and Ty-Drive.

The 11th season of the Red Line Oil Professional Drag Racing Series (PDRA) kicks off this weekend from GALOT Motorsports Park with the PDRA East Coast Nationals. The most exciting Pro Mod racing in the country leads the pack of other classes like Extreme Pro Stock, Pro Street, Outlaw 632, Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Motorcycles, Junior Dragsters and more. The three-day event consists of test and tune on Thursday, qualifying on Friday and final eliminations on Saturday.
