UFC Hall of Famer and actor Randy Couture was injured Tuesday afternoon, July 8, during a private test session at Flying H Dragstrip just outside Kansas City, Missouri. Couture was piloting his team’s ’37 Chevy Pro Mod known as Al Capone, a Scag Power Equipment-backed entry, as part of a test program preparing for his much-anticipated NHRA Pro Mod debut at the 2025 Cornwell Quality Tools NHRA U.S. Nationals over Labor Day Weekend.

Some of the baddest Pro Mod drivers in the country will be making their way to Flying H Drag Strip to battle for a $150,000 prize at the Midwest Drag Racing Series Fall Smack Down this weekend.

The Summit Racing Equipment Mid-West Drag Racing Series presented by J & A Service, LLC presents the Smack Down 2024! The baddest of the bad Pro Modifieds will be roaring into Flying H Drag Strip September 19-21 to battle for a record $150,000 payday.
