2000 Memphis Silver Crown Highlights

Highlights from the 2000 USAC Silver Crown race from Memphis, site of the series' return on March 22-23, 2019.

In the '00 season finale, two-time USAC National Sprint Car champion Brian Tyler took over the leader late after trouble befell the previous year's Silver Crown champ Ryan Newman three-quarters of the way through the race.

While Tyler cruised to victory, Tracy Hines earned his first USAC National title.  He would go on to become the sixth driver to become a USAC Triple Crown title.
