The most prestigious race in dirt late model racing is once again shaping up to be a memorable event. With only a handful of days remaining until the 52nd World 100 at Eldora Speedway, the updated entry list for the event features 93 drivers, including many of racing's biggest stars. 

Since our first look at the World 100 entry list last Tuesday, an additional 36 drivers have filed entries. Those additions to the entry list include former World 100 winners, Late Model crown jewel winners and a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series playoff driver. 

Headlining the list of new entries is one of the most polarizing figures in Eldora Speedway history: Scott Bloomquist. The four-time World 100 winner will attempt to make his 32nd career start in the race. 

2022 Show-Me 100 winner Chris Ferguson has been added to the entry list after winning an Eldora Million preliminary feature in June. "Fergy" will be seeking his first Eldora crown jewel victory. 

Earl Pearson, Jr. has also thrown his hat into the ring and hopes to capitalize on momentum from a recent $50,000 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series win at Port Royal Speedway.

Devin Moran, a fan favorite at Eldora Speedway, has officially entered the race with hopes of breaking the "Million Dollar Curse." Moran finished third in the Eldora Million earlier this year, coming up just two spots short of repeating a feat accomplished by his father Donnie in 2001. 

A surprising addition to the entry list comes in the form of current NASCAR Camping World Truck Series competitor Carson Hocevar. The 19-year-old Michigan native is primarily known for his accomplishments in pavement racing, but he has dabbled in dirt at event such as the Lucas Oil Chili Bowl Nationals. Hocevar, who finished 25th in his only NASCAR Truck Series start at Eldora, will be making his dirt late model crown jewel debut at the track.

World 100 week will begin on Wednesday night with the completion of the Dirt Late Model Dream, which was postponed with 14 laps completed in June. The "Chasing the Dream" program for drivers who have not won a main event at Eldora Speedway will also be held Wednesday night. 

Preliminary action on Thursday and Friday nights will set the stage for the grandaddy of them all, the 52nd World 100 on Saturday night.
