PASS Super Late Models Invade Seekonk Wednesday For Big-Money Battle

The fastest full-bodied cars in New England will invade Seekonk Speedway on Wednesday night to battle for a $10,000 prize in the PASS Bay State Classic. With one of the richest paydays of the season on the line, many of the region's biggest stars are expected to be in attendance.

Currently, 26 Super Late Model drivers are pre-entered for the race with additional entries anticipated on race day. In addition to the PASS touring series stars, a stout list of Seekonk regulars are hoping to defend their home turf and capture the $10,000 check.

Headlining the list of entries is defending PASS North champion and the most recent PASS winner at Seekonk, Johnny Clark, who picked up a victory on June 25 at "The Cement Palace."

Derek Griffith, who is coming off of a NASCAR Xfinity Series start at New Hampshire Motor Speedway two weeks ago, is also expected to join the field with hopes of collecting his second $10,000 victory at Seekonk.

Ryan Kuhn, who calls Seekonk Speedway his home track, enters the race as the current PASS North points leader. Kuhn will be joined by fellow championship contenders Eddie MacDonald (-10 points) and Gabe Brown (-40 points).

Five-time PASS North champion D.J. Shaw has also entered the event in search of his third career victory at Seekonk.

Joey Polewarczyk, Jr. will join the field behind the wheel of the Richard Moody Racing No. 4 ride with hopes of securing his first career PASS Super Late Model win at Seekonk.

Eight-time Seekonk Speedway Pro Stock champion David Darling leads an impressive list of home track drivers who will be competing in the event. He'll be joined by Angelo Belsito, Dylan Estrella, Bob Pelland III, Kevin Casper and a host of others looking to claim the win in their home state.

Jake Johnson, who also cut his teeth racing at Seekonk Speedway, will return to the Late Model ranks after winning the Tri-Track Open Modified Series SBM 125 at Star Speedway last weekend.

American-Canadian Tour winner Derek Gluchacki will also return to his home track behind the wheel of a Super Late Model.

Trevor Sanborn, who is fresh off a 100-lap Super Late Model win at Oxford Plains Speedway, is also expected to make the trip south for Wednesday's race.

The complete entry list for Wednesday night's PASS Bay State Classic can be viewed below.

Heat races are scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m. ET on Wednesday night, with PASS Modifieds and INEX Legends joining PASS Super Late Models on the schedule.
