2022 Drag Racing Watch Guide

The last half of 2022 is an action-packed one for drag racing fans everywhere as the dog days of summer end and the biggest events of the year fill in the calendar. Included in the list is over 20 of the best drag racing events in the country, like World Cup Finals, No Mercy, FL2K, PDRA, Funny Car Chaos, and more–FloRacing has it all as well as the exclusive behind-the-scenes coverage to get you in on the action. Become a FloRacing subscriber today to never miss a class or pass.

Shakedown Nationals is one of Virginia Motorsports Park’s crown jewel events, and 2022 brings the twentieth anniversary of the legendary race. Pro-modified leads a packed class list featuring Pro275, X275, Limited Drag Radial, and a 32-car street car shootout.

You can watch Shakedown Nationals XX here on FloRacing September 14-17, 2022.

PDRA is in the backstretch of their season with stops at Maple Grove, Galot, and Virginia Motorsports Park for their Brian Olsen World Finals event - a full weekend of down-to-the-wire points battles with some of the fastest pro-modified and street car racing in the world.

You can watch the entire PDRA series by becoming a FloRacing subscriber.

Mid-West Drag Racing Series returns from summer break in September with a weekend at the one and only US 131, then Tulsa and a wild final show at Xtreme Raceway Park. MWDRS has it all–pro-modified, funny cars, drag cars, street cars, and more.

You can watch the entire MWDRS by becoming a FloRacing subscriber.

FL2K comes out of a freshly-redesigned and redone Bradenton Motorsports Park, one of the strongest facilities in the country under the leadership of Victor Alvarez. The fastest and baddest (and rowdiest) street cars descend on BMP for a packed class lineup and head-to-head roll racing competition.

You can watch FL2K 22 here on FloRacing October 6-9, 2022.

No Mercy owns the radial tire racing scene with its sister event, Lights Out, and is a pivotal race in the inaugural Radial Outlaws series. South Georgia Motorsports Park is an unforgiving and blisteringly-fast track for small tire racers and November’s No Mercy reflects that by being one of the year’s super bowls of drag racing. The Duck X Productions race is a show and a grind and an event you absolutely do not want to miss.

You can watch No Mercy here on FloRacing October 26-30, 2022.

World Cup Finals is the biggest imports vs. domestic event of the year and one of the largest drag racing events there is. The quarter-mile of Maryland International Raceway in Budds Creek, Maryland is owned all weekend by everything from muscle cars to Honda Civics (and yes, everything between). Street racing superstars match up against seasoned pros for this wild weekend in November.

You can watch the World Cup Finals here on FloRacing November 2-6, 2022.

Drag racing fans can watch all of these events (and more!) by becoming a FloRacing subscriber today.
